In the first session, your therapist will complete a comprehensive assessment, considering factors such as social relationships, physical health, mental health history, and childhood upbringing. Together, you'll develop realistic treatment goals. Therapy can be short-term or long-term and sessions vary in length depending on the type (individual, couples, or family). All sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. The frequency of sessions is determined based on your needs, ranging from weekly to bi-weekly. Treatment can be terminated by the client or therapist at any time. A consultation will address any additional questions you may have.

First, ensure you're ready to commit to yourself and the process. Schedule a consultation to discuss your availability and ask any remaining questions before booking an intake session. You'll need a device with a camera and microphone for virtual sessions.

We currently accept Cigna, United Healthcare, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford, BCBS of NC, and Aetna. If your insurance isn't listed, we offer private pay options. We accept credit/debit card transactions, with payment due on the day of the appointment.
